When You've Tried Everything ... and Those Results Aren't Happening

You’re not failing my friend …

You’re just stuck in past experiences …

As an empty-nesting, middle aged mom, maybe you’ve gone back to the ways that used to work for you when you were younger - I mean why wouldn’t you, it worked back then, so doesn’t that seem logical 🫠

You’ve been prioritizing everyone else in your family for decades.

It feels like you’re lost in this gray zone of “Ok, now what?”

Here’s the thing …

When you come into something new like a fitness program, an eating plan or even private coaching, you’re stepping into the unknown right?  You want to succeed SO badly, but it feels a bit nerve wracking.  You naturally judge yourself and doubt your ability to thrive when you go out of your comfort zone.

I like to start with looking at the entire picture of where you’re coming from … are you someone who is a non-stop “doer” or someone who tends to overthink everything before allowing herself any smidge of a commitment?  Do you like to take that first step into the unknown, or are you thinking of every single thing that can (and in your mind WILL) go wrong?

I love to have midlife women start by:

  1.  Writing out 3 things that they are really good at … and believe me that stumps so many women 💭

  2. Tell me 3 things you are really proud of …. 😊

  3. And 3 things you’d like to learn going into this new chapter of  🥳

“Wait, Krista, where’s all the diet and information on

how to count calories and workout??”

…we’ll absolutely start working on nutrition and movement once we ground ourselves with a solid foundation that builds confidence and starts to feel like we’re exactly where we need to be right now.  Self sabotage doesn’t need to repeat itself this time!

One of the biggest reasons we hold onto those extra pounds and “fluff” as I lovingly call it, is because there are underlying issues you may have with that low lying anxiety and stress that you probably don’t even think you have!!  I had it, and couldn’t believe it when my coach told me my cortisol levels were super low in the morning and too high to sleep in the evening!! 😩

By taking time to reframe your midlife journey, to start to see this as a new chapter, that YOU get to write. You start to trust the story you are creating for yourself … 🤯

You start to feel worthy of that goal that has been eluding you and just let it start to happen organically …

Are you ready for this new chapter …

Or are you struggling with embracing this new time in your journey?

There's nothing wrong with starting small ...
